The Ministry of Industry and Trade has officially issued Circular No. 28/2026/TT-BCT, which regulates the list of imported goods subject to state inspection regarding food safety under the management scope of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Under current Vietnamese law, commodities imported into Vietnam that fall within the industrial food categories managed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (such as beverages, confectionery, processed milk, and vegetable oils) must undergo strict state food safety inspection procedures prior to customs clearance.
Circular 28/2026/TT-BCT provides the latest updated list of these specific products along with their corresponding HS Codes to ensure a synchronized and transparent inspection workflow.
